This book was filled with adventure! I loved it!

3。5 stars。 For me, this third book in the City Spies series is not quite as interesting as the first two。 The unique powers of observation and perception possessed by the characters were not as sharply utilized in this novel and the interaction of the cast seemed a bit separated and disjointed。 The overall plot was a little blurry although the sub-plots were captivating。

Fun YA series。 Started at #3 but didn’t miss a beat。 I love the city names of the teen agents and use of Star Wars code names。 Great lines:I just don’t see what public speaking and mathematics have to do with each other。 I am more than happy to let my numbers speak for themselves。 Tactics are what you do when there’s something to do。 Strategy is what you do when there’s nothing to do。 KISS your way to charmfulness: Kindness, Interest, Sensitivity, Sincerity

Loved it。 Fast-paced with appealing character development。

Lady Susan

This was my favorite of the three that I have read。 Loved the chess talk。

Colt

Ahhh it's been so long since I've read a City Spies book, and I forgot how much I love this series。 This book, in particular, was really good。 I liked that a lot of it was from Paris's perspective, because I always thought he was an interesting character。 I also liked how there were multiple storylines。 Usually when that happens, there's one interesting one and one boring one, but I was really invested in both! Probably because they were somewhat connected。 I think my favorite character in this Ahhh it's been so long since I've read a City Spies book, and I forgot how much I love this series。 This book, in particular, was really good。 I liked that a lot of it was from Paris's perspective, because I always thought he was an interesting character。 I also liked how there were multiple storylines。 Usually when that happens, there's one interesting one and one boring one, but I was really invested in both! Overall, James Ponti has done an amazing job with this series。 So far, I have loved every page of it。 。。。more

This book is really more of a 3。5 stars。 I really enjoyed it, even though it was written for younger kids (10-12 years old maybe)。 The plot was good, but I preferred the first 2 books。 Also, it got confusing because they changed settings and perspectives quite frequently, which got confusing。 Over all a good book, and a quick and easy read

Once again an amazing book from James Ponti! I love this series so much! I can’t wait for city of the dead book 4 to come out and see if Kat or Rio is the point of view。 This is such a good series so you should definitely read all the books! Actual rating: 4。5,I don’t know why but I felt like the third book had less sparkle than the ones before, the adventure, however, was EPICCCCCC。 And there were amazing scenes🤧✨。 All in all it’s a great book and I loved it!

I didn't find this to be the best book。 Felt that the story was too mysterious and didn't move forward fast enough, making this book boring and a slow read。 I am still giving it 3 stars because the plot is good and the characters in fun。 You should read this book if you like City Spies in order to keep up with the series, but not a stand alone read。 I didn't find this to be the best book。 Felt that the story was too mysterious and didn't move forward fast enough, making this book boring and a slow read。 I am still giving it 3 stars because the plot is good and the characters in fun。 You should read this book if you like City Spies in order to keep up with the series, but not a stand alone read。 。。。more
